Wahl heat resistant pouch / mat.  This heat resistant pouch/mat by Wahl is ideal for hair straigteners and curling irons. It is has a black exterior with a zip which when unfastened allows the pouch to be turned into a flat mat. 

This mat allows the user of hot hairdressing tools to place them on the opened heat resistant material and thus protect work surfaces, tables, carpets etc.  It also has a neat small section at the rear of the pouch for storing small items if required.
